Folders

Organize team content 

Prior to folders, content was presented as a flat list in Dune profiles. This presented an accessibility challenge for prolific teams and creators with expansive content repositories. 

Now teams can organize queries and dashboards in a structured way. Folders are private and viewable only by team members which helps collaborators work together privately, while still allowing external profile visitors to access a team’s public content.

Folders are determined by plan. As a free user, your team can create two folders, Plus teams can create up to ten, and Premium teams can create up to fifty. To start using folders, navigate to My Creations on Dune and start building today!

Query Anything with Data Uploads

Integrate your off-chain data with Dune’s data

In the beginning, there was Ethereum data. Over time we’ve added more and more chains, and today you can query rich data from over a dozen blockchains.

Now we’re expanding what’s possible for data queries. For the first time, you can bring your off-chain data to Dune. Send static files (like CSVs) to Dune and create queryable tables. Take a look at this query for example, which compares the price of $ETH with FED funds rate:

The ability to integrate your off chain data with Dune’s existing rich data catalog allows for powerful new analysis and has huge possibilities for analysts globally. Teams can now add rich context to crypto data analytics and analyze insights in the context of bigger macro trends and events. Dashboard and Query Scheduler 

Get the most up-to-date data when you need it

Historically, we’ve refreshed content daily for Spark SQL and every six hours for Dune SQL, respectively, to provide a baseline of fresh content for users. But we realize there’s no one-size-fits-all model for data freshness. Scheduled queries and dashboards puts users in the driver’s seat and allows them to schedule both dashboards and queries to run periodically on a schedule that’s best suited for their business needs.

Save time with automatic, regular query updates on dashboards that can help to build more sophisticated analysis. Each refresh consumes a set amount of credits, and users will be able to see an estimate as they’re setting it up. To schedule dashboards and queries navigate to the query or dashboard you want to schedule and click the clock icon.

Query API Endpoints 

Create, Read, Update and Delete queries programmatically

This is a big API unlock for Premium teams and allows users to create, read, update, or archive queries outside of the Dune IDE. This feature along with Private Views, which allows for team’s users to query private queries, creates more options for interoperability, building complex workflows, and managing queries in Github than before. Find out about how to use the Query API endpoints in our docs.
