Dune: A New Home for Your Dashboards

Flipside is shutting down its analytics studio, but your dashboards don’t have to.

Flipside has announced that their analyst Studio and dashboard builder will go offline on July 1, 2025. If you’ve spent months or years crafting queries and data stories there, that date feels painfully close. Losing hard-won insights is rough. We understand the stress of finding a new home.

This post explains how Dune can help you migrate your work, keep your audience engaged, and unlock even more possibilities.

Why Dune is a Safe Landing Spot

Since 2018, Dune’s mission has been simple: Make crypto data accessible.

We’re a focused team of onchain data experts committed to data quality, performance, and community. We're building a bigger, better data space for everyone. Instead of competing for slices, we focus on improving the whole ecosystem—so more teams can build, analyze, and innovate with reliable onchain data.

On Dune, you’ll get access to historical data across more than 100 chains, both EVM and non-EVM. The platform hosts over 1.5M datasets and serves more than 1M monthly active users. Everything you build is public by default and shareable with a link, though private mode is also available. With 5M views and active community marketing opportunities, your work will have a better chance to reach a wider audience. And best of all, it’s completely free to get started.

What Dune Offers

Dune provides a suite of products tailored to data analysts, data engineers, blockchain devs and enterprise teams:

Dune Platform: This is where analysts live. Query data using SQL, build dashboards, CSV download, materialized views, and share insights. It’s intuitive, powerful, and flexible.

SQL API: Programmatic access to query, export, or import data using the same engine behind the Dune interface.

Datashare: Enterprise-only access to Dune datasets through Snowflake or BigQuery.

Sim (Developer Platform): A real-time API built for developers who need the fastest, freshest onchain data delivered via structured endpoints.
